The USDA has been measuring the flow of the river for 61 years and it has never been lower in August, so there has been no kayaking this summer. On average the CFS should be around 250 at this point in August, which is plenty of water for a nice run anywhere on the river. It is at 5. It would mean dragging boats through river bed in 100 degree temperatures.
